- sudosysgen 4y agoI've also heard very bad things from colleagues about their time there.
- valdiorn 4y agoThe account named "markshuttle" commenting on that thread - please tell me that's a satire account, and not actually Mark Shuttleworth... because his answers are weird. (sadly the account is 8 years old and somewhat likely to be legit) Having a "personality test" with a score from 0-100 is batshit. And the fact that he's just pulled most of this stuff out of his rear end, and unilaterally decided "yes, this is a good way to hire people" without doing any actual research, asking others to review the process or making any attempt to make it less crazy, is very telling. Mark, if that's actually you, and you read this; please man, have someone review your hiring process, because it's terrible and most of the questions you're asking do absolutely nothing for evaluating whether a candidate is a good fit. There is no shame in getting expert advise on topics we aren't intimately familiar with, and a good CEO needs to know that, be humble about his own capabilities and delegate to good people.
