I love when I tell people that I garden and they say things like "that's a nice hobby". Growing your own food is not a hobby, you are literally participating in the economy. It is great exercise and really helps you understan

It's a myth in the USA. Ugly food doesn't make it to the store, it becomes something else which has a longer shelf life. Food past it's prime goes into the dumpster, without any chance of a discount or price reduction. Source

I use Firefox on my smart phone since quantum. It's worth a try, I don't even remember the differences, feels like a drop in replacement.

Interesting, it seems we are in the midst of famine conditions if it doesn't stop raining on the USA and droughting in Australia. It seems every part of the planet right now is having trouble with it's food supply. One theory I wa

I pee in a sealed orange juice jug. It takes me about 3-4 days to fill it, at which point I take it with me during my morning garden walk about and pour it on top of my compost pile. The resource is too valuable to piss away.

My gripe really isn't with SaaS. My gripe is less about "app" software. My gripe is with printers, scanners, smart phones, IoT devices, TVs, Cricuts, which only work by sending all your data into the cloud... If you can send

Yes I want at least 30% of the population on Earth to farm their own food. I want the food system to become localized which will prevent a crisis which makes people starve and stops "food islands" where people in certain locations

Most of the literature attributes the walls to early settlers and colonists. The vast amount of walls especially in places that were never settled makes this hypothesis wrong and outright misleading. Some walls were created by colonists but
