I would never get used to how to remember the diameter of the earth. Now all I need to remember is how many km's are there in a nautical mile, get the length of the equator and divide it by pi. i.e. (360 x 60 x 1.85/3.14)

Isn't the title incorrect? As in: it does orbit around the sun, but the center does not coincide exactly with the center of the sun. Or maybe there are other used definitions of the term "orbit around"?

Great work, just didn't like the key bindings. W-A-S-D is a better choice than A-S-D-F.

I am pretty sure, its not going to be well received by HN, for the simple reason that they are appealing to their corporate audiences rather than developers.

I've been a vim guy for 5 years now. And last month I tried to switch to emacs. But it just didn't feel natural for the following reasons: 1. My usual coding session would involve Vim+Tmux, on trying the same with emacs. I was see

My worry is that because Chrome has become a standard of web-browsing so even after such decisions taken by Google, people would not switch to other(better) options.

Yes, although the concept is good I am pretty sure after handing this note the official would demand for more. Nowadays I have seen threatening with audio/video footage using a smartphone work pretty well.

Well, no. If the demand is less, this would trigger low number of flights flying. Basic supply and demand logic in a free market.

Finally I see some discussion which I always kept thinking about. My political preference is leftward, but the point which the right wing believers raise about the left-leaning leaders speaking about climate change is not completely invalid

The whole point of "these alternative solutions" is to compensate long term costs by increasing short term costs.

First thank you folks for the suggestions. After using Vim panes for a day, I can say this: Vim panes vs vim instances in tmux, who wins? It depends on the use case. In case you want to edit files that are completely independent of each oth
