Isn't the title incorrect? As in: it does orbit around the sun, but the center does not coincide exactly with the center of the sun. Or maybe there are other used definitions of the term "orbit around"?
- acjohnson55 7y agoI suppose there's no hard line between a single object being the actual center of orbit and a many-body problem. I think the interesting thing to me is that the barycenter is often far enough from the center of the sun to not be within the sun at all. But that's about it.
