That works the same for both sides. Many people I know would never use an iPhone. Most people in the world don't use iPhones.

To me it's a lot like pumping your own gas. It's weird when I go back to NJ and have to sit in the car and wait for the one dude working on 6 pumps. But if you talk to people from NJ who have never been outside of NJ it would seem

Yes and no. It is paranoid because we're already about 20 years into our Orwellian future; it's no longer ahead of us.

I already get throttled and I didn't hit 200GB last month. Moved from NJ to CO and still have to deal with the long dick of Comcast.

Why would you force anyone to do anything? Just do it. You've got dozens of these threads full of competent software engineers and no one can put 10/100 people together and fix this? I think it's easy to not want to learn som

It's so interesting to me that so many people complain and no one does anything. If Javascript is so bad just make any other JIT compiler run in browsers. Defeat the argument with action. I'm comfortable with my build process. I h

It's just the fonts being loaded over http instead of https like the site is. Easy fix is just change all the font urls to https since Google Fonts supports https as well.

It's just not true that Americans wouldn't take these jobs. If Americans won't take jobs at $2 an hour that doesn't mean Americans are big assholes who leave food on the table, it means that companies are big assholes th

I can't tell you how happy I'd be if someone made a network of applications you could download and install in under a second that ran in any other language.

I guess I'm coming from the wrong side. I think happiness for its own sake is really meaningless. I'd much rather struggle and advance than be happy doing nothing until I die, but I guess I'm in the minority. Happiness, to me

Modular vs monolith. Many people would rather require 100 libraries that each do one thing perfectly than one library that does 10,000 things poorly. It also makes everything you do easier to test and run 10+ times faster.
