Kinzhals being intercepted all the time could also be propaganda or missile defense having progressed more than publicly known. It's not a great idea in war to assume your enemy is incompetent (even when they are).

Yeah it's certainly unimaginable that the civilization that invented gunpowder, cannons, guns, rockets a thousand years ago can make it for cheap now :) 'Hypersonic' missile makes it sound like it's alien technology, no

This argument would be a great one in 2016. Now though, proton/wine works more or less for everything, and the storefront is a web based one anyway.

For about two months Epic Games Store kept switching me to a different language and currency. None of those languages were familiar to me, and there was no VPN/proxy/etc involved.

25B does not seem anywhere near enough for this, but good luck to Terafab! This is something the world really needs, we have produced neither compute nor memory at the scale needed for the last 5 years. I imagine they'll find recruitme

Well great news, you can put your life savings into this sort of bet. I don't think you'll do it, but the option exists.

This is a big problem in open source that seems taboo to discuss. In my opinion, unwritten rules are for gatekeeping. And if a new person follows all the unwritten rules, magically there's no one willing to review. I think this is how

I got a 6D from facebook marketplace for ~125 USD, but it was in the US, which has a more 'liquid' second hand electronics market in my experience.

I have a PhD in a niche field and this can do my job ;) Not sure if this means I should get a more interesting job or if we are all going to be at the mercy of UBI eventually.

Macos will try and keep available memory used. Launch a few more applications and you'll see everything sort of still keeps working at an acceptable responsiveness.
