you can never have free trade without a free flow of human beings . As long as we have passports and border guards, we will never have free trade.

I wish more ideas in the U.S. were censored. Like the idea that it is okay for bankers to make millions for creating zero value while putting people on the street. Or that it is okay for the government to invade a sovereign entity and take

Have you ever really thought about what it takes to run a country with 1.5 billion people in it? People are not rational. Just click on this link and see what you get: http://duckduckgo.com/?q=the+world%27s+oldest+civilization Google h

It is not in the US best interest for China to release the yuan. If that were to happen, the buying power of chinese holders of the yuan will increase to the point that their demand for goods will compete with the U.S. demand for goods.

It is amazing how obvious these instructions are. I own a prius and have been setting up a plan for if/when something like this happens to me. I have never worried about a stuck accelerator, because such an event is a possibility in any

I disagree with what you are saying. For each item you mentioned that is irrelevant, the same is true in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering. It should be obvious why a Turing machine isn't relevant to modern programming. It s

I think the difference is that software is engineering that isn't treated like engineering. For example, if a new bridge is going to be built, years and years are spent building models, testing winds, and understanding the geography of t

That wasn't true in my school. While there were lots of math classes to take, there were far more computer science classes required for a BS in CS and more electrical engineering and physics classes required for a BSe in Computer Enginee

Everything has always been a game. Life is a game. Reading books about successful market traders, the best ones treat it like a game. The difference now is that we are able to calculate points for things we normally didn't. Every action

The startup scene in Vancouver is horrible . I can't imagine any entrepreneurs moving there to start a company when Seattle is so close. The talent, the market, and the community are infinitely better in Seattle than Vancouver. Combine

They will have to install ie6, some of them anyway, because there are a TON of applications out there built to IE6 that are years old with no one to support them and many of them have code bases that have disappeared. It's a sad situation

It's actually a credit union, which is far better IMO than a traditional bank. I have a business account at a bank who wouldn't give me an ATM (non debit) so I immediately cut it up.

Okay, that makes more sense, but it's not admirable in anyway and it's not something I would invest in. 37s has a tiny fraction of mahalo's uniques, but I can imagine it having more revenue and more potential.

When the banks ask me if I want a debit card, I say no. I have a credit card and I have an ATM card that cannot function as a debit card. Much less risk for me.
