How the API works: what and how it tracks. Almost all the key parts are revealed in the post, something makers of Leap didn't want to leak early and did made their point very clear multiple times throughout registration process.

It's nice. Very simple: plastic case, black plastic on top, black rubbery base on the bottom. Two USB ports on the side, but they are hardly noticeable. Overall, it's one little brick, and there are no moving parts, so construction is very

I also own one and have started developing a 3D painting application with it. It's magical, like playing with a touchscreen was magical. BTW, this post reveals a bit more information than Leap Motion would like developers to reveal. Essenti

I know it would be very difficult, but I also know it's possible, so what about live preview? I generated something, it wasn't as good as I hoped, and I wish I could tweak it a bit. If not, maybe I'll try to hack this with <canvas>

Found about 40 iOS resources (phone templates, UIs, etc.) before finding a single Android resource. That leads to nothing good for state of mobile design.

The most amazing feature of this, that I have seen NONE other app do, is the changing icon. Install the app, and change the colors. Then, close the app. Its icon's colors have changed to reflect the color theme change.

I very much disagree with this moral view. Just because something is legal doesn't make it moral. See, when I'm being up-sold almost anywhere, in a store, eating place, etc., I can make good judgement on whether it makes sense to agree to a

I can't imagine how app design in InDesign should work. Yes, InDesign has some effects, but they are not the same quality and power as PhotoShop's, and overall many of the tools lack pixel-precision that is needed. Sure, it can work 90% of

I'm designing iOS and Android apps full-time for over a year now. A couple of tips from me: - He's very right about previewing on the device. I like xScope better than Silkscreen, because it can stream anything, both file, or screen region,

Best you can do: don't use Archer, use either something from Google or from Typekit. Typekit uses many layers of protection, and implementing them would be difficult and not worth the time. Second best thing: at least Base-64 encode the fon

Google's recent websites for marketing - this and http://www.themobileplaybook.com/ - really stand out. Their production value is just amazing, and in case of Mobile Playbook, content is great too.

Yes, but it would still be fairly easy. My AI is already not trying to use the longest word, but instead tries to secure as many tiles as possible. In many cases it means using shorter words that have just the right letters.
