Not the person you replied to, but that's what I imagine he/she is getting at. What I think of when someone mentions a Unix UI library is something like Qt, which provides a number of conventions, such as: - Standard layouts - Sta

The original desktop site on mobile works fine for me, it’s all I’ve ever used. But it’s not the default and the redesign is unusable, so you have to configure each new browser you visit the site on. My usage has definitely dropped over the

I like solving puzzles. I like algorithms. Every once in a while I even get to use them at my job! Solving these kinds of things is at most 5-10% of a developer’s job, and that’s probably a stretch in reality. The number of times I’ve seen

There is nothing more frustrating than doing things you are bad at, regularly, especially if you are bound to get somewhat worse as time goes on. To your point, even if that were the reason for a significant number of departures, it would n

I occasionally share kid pics with relatives, and keep in touch with the martial arts school I attend. It's a perfectly fine tool for me, but I see how everyone else uses it and it makes me feel slightly sick each time I open it up.

What I find more disagreeable is the newly enabled autosuggest feature. Few things are more annoying than seeing bad suggestions pop up for every word, on a desktop device where I type at 100wpm. Edit: word.
