I don't remember where but I heard that just manufacturing a car cause more pollution than it's entire lifetime on the road. If Uber prevents people from buying cars then Uber may actually be environmentally friendly.

There are many things that I wish that I wouldn't have to pay for. I would not pay for many of the bureaucratic waste that happens in Washington. But, unfortunately taxes do not work like that. All one can do is vote for different laws
