I think they should pay rent and should be paid proper wages, to accelerate reintroduction to society. Don’t do any work? Get the worst cell, with rent written off. Work as a firefighter? Get $30/hour which you can use to get better li

Why? If I store your height and weight for you as part of my app, but compute on the server-side the quotient of those for server-side features, why do I need to give you that intermediate value? Would you then be entitled to any intermedia

But that has political consequences, so in a way it’s a political agenda. Like, if you drive 120mph on city streets, you have a collision agenda, whether that was your intent or not.

Question: can SodaStream carbonate arbitrary liquids like orange juice, or just pure water? If it can only carbonate water, which you then mix with flavoring, what’s the advantage over bottled seltzer from the store?

Not just immigration law but many types of laws and also benefits. It looks very bad to have worse health insurance for some employees than others, but you need good insurance to recruit top professionals. Solution: make all of the other pe

This is one of the costs of diversity. People don’t work together towards shared goals anymore since they characterize the other people benefiting as un-American/unpersons.

In terms of people who accomplished great things but were never recognized for it in their lifetimes you can find a lot sadder stories than a man who won the Nobel Prize.

It depends on how much you pay for the laptop. If you get the overpriced “enterprise” machines you get the on site support. I found it cheaper to just have extra hardware on hand.

Doesn’t matter if you figure it out, you’ll never solve the problem unless you’ve seen it yourself. Imagine an app for plumbers, you’d probably need to know plumbing to make it. It’s like that.

I basically have a shitty Rails app that solves a particular problem for a completely non tech industry (there are millions of such problems). It’s easy for me to find the people who need it. But if I ever had to compete with high quality s

If organic ribeyes is saving this person’s life maybe they need to be in a hospital. How about if you need an organic ribeye you can get your doctor to prescribe you one and then your EBT card works for it. I sure as hell don’t think that

I’ve seen a person buying organic ribeye steaks with EBT. I assume they were not going hungry because they were morbidly obese. And paternalistic is fine with me, that means like a father which is what buying someone’s food is, really.

The whole “food stamp recipients = crack addicts” is a lie created by tax cutting politicians. 44 MILLION people receive food stamps. There are not 44 million crack addicts in America. There aren’t even 4 million.
