One thing that is completely omitted in the discussion here is that Outreachy is doing something based on your residency (if in US, different rules apply). This is well within their rights, but I wonder how that part affects the "diver

On the other hand, I would prefer to not have my local supermarket sell my data, even at an extra 3% and yet I have basically no option to do that.

Hello everyone. This is a project by me (Maciej Fijalkowski) and Armin Rigo. We also wrote PyPy ( http://pypy.org ) and we got quite excited about the Virtual Reality technology. We think VR for architects is a great start for the

We developed a product for editing architecture models in VR (VRsketch.eu). I wonder what company did you try to work with? The potential is enormous, a bit unclear how to sell those though, architecture is a tricky market :)

That's what you get for having the "green" party in power in Germany - they pushed for phasing out the nuclear and now it looks how it looks.

yes, but you cannot open a bank account. You can use holvi ( https://about.holvi.com/e-residents/ ) but I haven't used it and don't know details on how it differs from a regular bank.

Just opened a company in Estonia. The experience so far has been incredible. It's not quite the future - all the technologies should exist everywhere etc. It's the present that should have been, but somehow it's not.

Did you guys try PyPy before deciding to switch? If yes, what was the outcome? If not, why not?

It would be really good if the author actually linked to somewhere where you can reproduce the benchmark. Either way, I'm pretty sure the correct response is "use pypy", not that I can check it

Yes, I'm really sorry. This is the usual case of budget - if I had budget to have anyone improve the website, improve the buildbot, improve the benchmark comparison, trust me I would do it. Right now there are no volunteers and the ben

It depends: we are heavily invested in making both numpy and pandas faster, so next releases will improve that. That said, you are quite likely to find your program slower (but it really depends on what you do). It's a good time to exp

Hi We should indeed compare PyPy3.5 vs CPython 3.5.3, but having a benchmark suite that works on both continuous to be a problem. Regarding 2.7.13 - you might find it surprising, but it's actually SLOWER than 2.7.2, there has been no s
