You might want to check out audio processing on Linux with a (soft) real-time kernel. The choice of plugins is limited, but it is reasonable to run a 5 man band (including three guitar amp modelers and voice processing) at 2.8 ms (internal)

Funfact you didn't want to know today: Figs are technically not vegan (nor vegetarian) as during the (highly complex) pollination process some fig-wasps have a wild time in the fruit, where eventually some of the wasps die and get abso

Then there is the class of people that just don't stop talking even if you physically leave the room. I know two of those, so statistically speaking either I am an extreme outlier there or there are a lot of those out there.

Counterpoint: I regularly go 40-50 km/h on my (not e-)bike on a downhill rural road (40 km/h speed limit) and drivers still feel obligated to overtake me.

Regarding kids and at the risk of sounding overly negative: Given that 100% - `0.0001%` of people are basically average and judging by my Internet most of the people have a very pessimistic outlook on life and the future, is it really fair

I was a white happy owner of the Nokia BH-503 on-ear BT headphones. Sadly they just recently broke, I had them for like 10 years and. My point is, that they just didn't have any of the problems you mention above (with the exception of

I think (hope) that in Germany we are still using brick and mortar construction? Or at least some modular wall elements. At least I have not really seen those rebar and concrete skeletons that are a common sight basically everywhere else.

While this definitely is an impressive an impressive one, those artificial pneumatic muscles have been around for ages [1] but have not become much smaller. My guess would be that there is some physical limit on how useful they can be. [1]

Isn't Dwarf Fortress somewhat of a roguelike farming game? It definitely features farming (and crafting, and raising cattle and ... literally everything else) and has been called a "honorable roguelike" before.
