That "I am feeling lucky" button does not seem random at all, it brought me in order to: Microsoft Windows, Blogger, The Financial Times, Github, Adobe ... As every other location I randomly scroll to has no recognizable image on

That's where more advanced type systems shine. You get to encode things like "this number is not null" and a safe division function will only take "not nulls" as the input. The workflow would then be: 1. prove

In theory it could inform programs like messengers to behave battery friendly. In practice I don't think that is implemented.

I guess the "easy" solution to that is to have a small fraction of presented content to be randomly selected from outside the echo chamber. Either by presenting completely random content or randomly from contributors that have alr

You can get reasonable results printing minifigs with a FDM printer ... tiny nozzles (0.1 mm), tiny layer heights (0.05 mm) and very slow print speeds (<10 mm/s) will get you a long way ... but even then resin printers just blow the

Actually, humans have relatively large male genitals relative to body size when compared with other animals. (I am at work ... so no way I am looking up sources for that ;-) )

I feel like this discussion is missing a bit about auditory detection. Maybe that is just my naive conclusion, but mosquitos (at least around here) make a very distinct buzzing sound. Picking that up with some sensitive microphones, isolati

I am pretty sure that I saw some ads for a commercial PCB cad program that showed functionality for exactly that. But yes ... probably not open source.

But that's strange, isn't it? Higher currents basically just require wider traces, higher frequencies require very specific trace lengths. That's nothing that can't be incorporated into an auto router.

I don't think it is ... and I think some it is some sort of "get of my lawn"-ism. I passed a degree in electrical engineering at some point (haven't used it too much after that), and "don't use the auto-router&

Also: the Autorouter in Kicad is actually pretty useful ... if you use it as a tool, not as a magic problem solving machine. I normally place components somewhat randomly, big chip in the middle, connectors at the side, small stuff close to
