Why specifically the focus on online gaming vs. gaming in general? I would imagine the "safety" of both travel in lock step. And I wouldn't think gaming is "safer" then other fields of programming. In fact even in g

No spark and k8s are configuration problems. Hard but you are not creating the tool, just configuring it. It's more of a dev ops /sys admin thing and, though I agree it's very hard, it's a very left field comparison IMO.

It does matter. For real-time the person will likely need a custom solution. That means coding the entire server in C++ or some other zero cost language with custom protocols. For the non-real-time, it means using a pre-existing backend ser

Interesting! ask it to introspect. Why and how did it make such a mistake?

Hmm I don't think it will be a monumental effort. chatGPT is simply GPT-3 with more refined training on top of it where it's trained on users hand selecting better answers. This training definitely improved the quality of the answ

I've done both. Graphics programming is significantly harder. It's both harder to program for and harder to learn. Make no mistake, they are different, but in terms of challenge, Web is trivial compared to it. You'll get a lo

Not to mention graphics is way harder then web. Let's be honest... Web, which encompasses frontend and backend is significantly easier then graphics programming.

I sort of agree. There is a lot of pointless cultist behavior around music. For example: concerts. Music delivered in concerts is technically in every way worse then recorded. People are going to concerts to listen to music that is technica

We can keep the discussion going but I don't see why? Polymorphism is not part of OOP it's much more universal then that. It can be used by OOP the same way numbers can be used as in OOP programming. But numbers are not hierarchic

I feel this viewpoint is pedantic. Zero cost abstractions is the space we're looking at and from this perspective, C and C++ are in the same space. If not then are we implying a successor to C++ needs to be Object Oriented? Because tha
