I would not say I love it, but it is free, and does what is needed out of the box. The real selling point is the plugins, notably the Remote Development extension. This lets you locally run the IDE while the code runs/lives on a remote

Cluttered definitely seems like an unusual complaint. It is a professional tool, not a mobile app driven by hamburger menus.

I have my doubts about that being the average car price. Is that considering all consumer vehicles (SUVs, trucks)? Baseline Toyota/Honda is still going to be ~$25k

The MSRP of a baseline 2024 Corolla is $22,050. No idea what you actually pay out the door. Assuming both of those sticker prices are accurate, I might still be leaning towards the Toyota. I know it will last for a long time and have no pro

That's exciting. While I have some minor gripes about VSCode, it is fine enough. What gets me worried is the plugin ecosystem continually becomes a selling point in which no other editor can compete. I want other editors to be built an

I know sugar is bad for me, yet look at how much corn-syrup or extra sugar is in everything today. The entire market is working against you.

Would also be interested in what is friendly with Django. Using VSCode + the Python extension, the default checker (Pylance?) just pukes on the ORM magic.

At one point, I know neither Microsoft or Sony deployed patches as binary diffs. Depending on what assets get patched, it might be faster to download the latest available version instead of installing from local disc and then patching to cu

I would argue the opposite. It feels like many vendors use too little syrup. To stretch the already fantastic profit margins on the soda.

I think there is already established case law that a deal can be too-good-to-be-true. If you see a 90" TV on Amazon for $1, even if the order went through, Amazon is within their rights to cancel it as a mistake in pricing.

My knee jerk thought is that you have to work significantly harder to secure land for windmills. They have to be distributed such that you require huge tracts of land and/or to secure rights to install a tower on someone else's pr

If you were really serious about this, I would think throwing the server into a colocation center would be the way to go. I believe those costs can be as low as a few hundred a month. Security, power, and cooling no longer your problem.

Accessing an individual cell value is slightly clunky, but that's not really where you use a DataFrame. A DataFrame is an object for where the entirety of the dataset is under study. Where you are typically interested in the broad dist

Sure, but you have to pick a threshold somewhere. Going with the median seems likely to be the most robust measurement. Which is to say, no, I would not feel comfortable consuming the equivalent LD49 of a substance. It is an order of magnit

For the curious, the LD50 in humans is thought to be somewhere on the order of 200mg/kg. So for a 70kg individual, that would be 14,000 mg (14 grams). A very strong coffee is 100mg, with energy drinks being 200-300mg.

I would be shocked if copies shared with third parties did not contain obvious and hidden fingerprint watermarks through the film. If the leak can be traced back to a particular studio, they are going to be black balled forever.
