Has that situation improved at all? I appreciate many shops still cowboy code their way across the finish line, but I would think that big publishers might put more effort into ensuring digital preservation for potential remakes/ports&

How much of an original script survives to filming? I assume that huge swaths of dialog gets reworked as more people can workshop the scene and get a sense of characters/timing/whatever.

Taking place on a planet of Wookies would make the Empire losing the ground battle make significantly more sense. Legend has it that it was changed to Ewoks for the kid toy opportunities.

Think of all the software which does not exist if we are still writing in assembly because we are constrained by the hardware. Python, RPGMaker, Roblox, PICO-8, etc are no longer possible because they are too wasteful. Having bounty enables

In fact, if I am reading this 2020 Census report correctly[0], 40% of the US population lives in the 806 cities with a population >= 50,000. [0] https://www.census.gov/data/tables/time-series/demo/pope

Isn't that exactly how things improve? When you can reduce the cognitive load on bookkeeping, you can accomplish more productive work. I can produce a featureful webapp in Python-Django solo because I do not have to worry about optimal

A picture is worth a thousand words. 200 feet tall and how thick are the bars? How many? Could I do it with a hacksaw or would I need a more intense torch? I want to visualize perpetrating the crime.

Sure, for high profile things. This is the daily news and a mild curiosity which is hardly worth the resources. Show a picture of a similar model tower, annotate it as such, and I have now have a sense of the difficulty in cutting it down.

Why would it have to be stealthy? Even if they did it in broad daylight, announcing their presence with a loudspeaker, "We are taking this tower." Would I, a random bystander care? For all I know, they were contracted by the owner

NVidia can't keep up with demand because ASML and TSMC have huge backlogs. Unless you can just buy up a competitor's slot in the queue, you are left with re-building an infrastructure pipeline that has been developed over decades.
