Its not loss of revenue per se since apple doesnt sell licenses for the OS. And presumably you are making the hackintosh because you DONT want the exact hardware apple sells.

Also probably the same machines that are installed for crowd control already a lot of military installations (microwave emitters) can do this already.

To be fair the V2 rockets never hit anything useful prinarily because the British had turned every german spy and were feeding them false information about the results of the attacks.

I like the ram only aspect but I wonder if the risk of losing all that data in a power disruption is worth it? Seems like it would make a temptimg target for "accidents" in areas where many people vote a certain way and some group

Wrong. In the book they build the bunker stations behind Jupiter but NOT in orbit of jupiter or its moons and even that station keeping takes a tremendous energy.

Instead of cost being the authenticator of the signal academic performance \ intelligence could be like it is in some european countries wherw college is low cost but admitance is based on high school performance.
