I've been doing lots of research on video games and some other niche areas, it's staggering how much information is on YouTube and only on YouTube. There are millions of hours of super high quality user-generated content locked up

Is that true? Or just conjecture? Surely the users of onavo would be self selecting into low economic groups, not indicative of the full population?

I used to do push ups until the round restarted, which could be 2 or 3 minutes long - it was a good incentive not to die early on!

What's the utility of this? The site is down and github doesn't really explain why you would do this.

Not on it's own. You can't rely on free market + welfare and everything is fine. You need a number of levers to support those that might be marginalized by your system, defense in depth.

I'm an engineer (mostly web) and I am very tech savvy, and extremely wary on the internet of scams. However, if this site had to come me via a trusted channel, I would have fallen for it maybe 80% of the time. I hardly ever login to st

Probably unlikely that those will wipe out humanity, at least we don't have any concrete evidence or examples of them (e.g. we have't built an AI that can do much yet, we don't have nanotech that will self replicate and kill

Walmart only pays if they make a sale, so long as the commission isn't greater than their margin it's just a customer acquisition / marketing cost that drives sales if they have it and takes them away if they don't. This

In this case the punter must have known it was an error, so it doesn't seem moral to pick up the 82k. Somehow everyone else seems to think otherwise, so maybe I'm just a sucker.
