The technology already exist. The OP stated, patents are over, and that is why (s)he is working on it. Even if it not exist, security by obscurity is no security... if anybody can do the tech, the bad guys are going to be as fast, or faster

Freedom to choose by Multon Friedman Black gold saga — a 4 hour documentary about oil, from discovery to the present. It really helps to understand how short sighted were some EU countries with Russian gas.

I think in every decent university you get to choose most of the courses, so you can fit it to your interests. Now it can be that somebody did the wrong choice, and now does not find a job where what he learned is useful. I think the univer

Dont worry. Don’t be sincere. Just write what you are “supposed” to. That is what a “good worker would” write.

I get my name mispronounced, misspelled, in wrong order, and/or incomplete constantly. I do bot think it is so bad. After all, as immigrant, I can choose to go back to my natal country anytime, if that is so bad. It is no discriminatio

I think the article makes a valid point. It is presented in a simplistic form, maybe aiming to shock a little. But it is in no way insulting. If somebody feels insulted by an opinion, it is on him/her.

This is exactly my problem with TDD. Note this problem is not only in SW. For any development you do, you could start with designing tests. You can do for some HW for sure. If you want to apply TDD to any other development, you see pretty f

I really do not think you have to do good research to write a book. Not by any stretch of the imagination. Just too many examples of books written by people with not even the foggiest idea what they write about. I’ve no idea in this particu

I recently saw “freedom to choose” by Milton Friedman. He insist that inflation can only be controlled by not printing more money. This law seems to address it very tangentially, by reducing deficit. I want to see the results!

Absolutely no! First: you get paid because you generate some kind of value. Is not like they ask you to do nonsense which you do not like, just for the sake of it, and get paid because that makes your life miserable. That many are convinced
