Absolutely no! First: you get paid because you generate some kind of value. Is not like they ask you to do nonsense which you do not like, just for the sake of it, and get paid because that makes your life miserable. That many are convinced of this fact, shows how broken are some companies and the society. Often the problem is exactly that. Many people don't like the work when they don't feel they are doing something valuable. There are very good places to work. But is difficult. I worked twice in wonderful teams, for 7 year aprox. each. It was great. There where some times, when it was... "just ok" and there are times, like my current job, where I viscerally hate it! You have to keep searching...
