The passkey I use for Google syncs to multiple devices, so that's how I handle it. That and a backup code stored in a separate location.

Makes sense - definitely an "unable" - I was just curious where the delay was coming, but that iMessage example really sounds like a system issue I agree. Glad iOS 27 fixed it.

Adding a stop at McDonalds on Google Maps won't necessarily work unless Google provides the hooks to accomplish that. But yes, it can give you information on a topic in a way the old Siri couldn't.

Interestingly, but not exactly related - the OS update process will not start if you're connected to CarPlay. Probably to avoid automatic updates from triggering when you plug it in to charge in the car.

I spent 2 weeks in Japan and used the Suica card near-daily in multiple cities. Sometimes it wouldn't even activate until I tapped it again, other times there was a delay.

Suica cards (and transit express payments in other regions) work after iPhone batteries die for a few hours.

You have the developer app installed. It does seem to be deep linking wrong. Sign in with Apple email addresses are email addresses for the Sign in with Apple button.

The API limits how frequently (3/year) *and* can be fully blocked by any user for all apps. They do get banned, effectively.

The ones that are not in great condition get sent to third parties and sold for slightly less. But Apple will replace the screen or battery and sell them themselves as well. I've gotten Apple refurb products with minimal signs of wear.
