The MS username space is completely unrelated to the Minecraft one. You have two usernames and the old ones haven’t been changed.

> can I say what a mess the whole Microsoft account thing absolutely agree Fun fact, Xbox profiles can be disconnected from Microsoft accounts without doing 2FA verification. It's a whole problem right now.

You couldn't verify you owned it because you didn't have access to the email presumably? What account system doesn't work like that? Also - having multiple Microsoft accounts is absolutely permitted, I have multiple due to th

I think that's already very much a problem, and given that they constrained it to routes that didn't have a significantly different drive time the risk seems low.

Apple Maps does this too but the threshold seems to be higher - it's a lot less willing to do it.

If having your personal email exposed would be a matter of personal safety or similar, then stop using it. If you're just using it for junk mail or to get a free trial then keep using it.

Right, but that distinction is not because it's an eSIM - it's just how it's issued. There's no technical distinction, just a practical ease of issuance.

A roaming eSIM would work the same way as a roaming SIM. Just because it's easier to set up (no need to get a physical SIM) doesn't change the regulations around it.

It feels cynical to see this as a punishment when it's such a specific use case that does demonstrate deep integration with Siri. Maps, Messages, etc. use Siri for their interactions. I am sure that there was a meeting where they dec
