I would argue that Amazon and Google are better because I can use their payment system on things other than my phone as well. Whenever I'm on a new site that's selling something, I'm very relieved when I see the amazon or goo

Amazon is huge. Do you have anything backing your first claim? I wouldn't feel comfortable claiming either side has more cards without a source.

Just from my experience, the Snowden thing was the best thing to happen for getting people to notice government abuses of power. Before him, if you were to say something like "the government is tracking everything we do on the internet

When you're that age you're entirely goal oriented. You don't care about structure, you don't care about speed. You wanted to hack Mech Warrior 2. You had a very specific goal, so whatever language helped you do that the

I kinda felt that the hyperloop proposal was made in a know it all fashion, like "oh look how easy it is, why hasn't this been done yet?", so I feel like this response is appropriate to that tone.

I was looking for something like this. I created an automated build script that rebuilds the project when any dependency file is saved. I wanted to be able to play a sound when the build was complete so I know it's safe to reload the p

I always liked event based systems the most. I find them to be clean and flexible. Sometimes you want to run some more code after you run an async operation, or you want to run multiple operations at once and deal with them out of order. Aw

Either other schools have terrible CS programs, or I'm in the minority of people who really enjoyed all my CS classes. I thought learning the ins and outs of how a computer worked was a big thrill. I always wanted to know how a bunch o

Why can't they just limit part of the service to make it impractical to run a large server on it? Decrease the upload bandwidth, or limit the number of simultaneous connections you can have. Those would all be service limitations inste
