Not solely an autobiography but one I enjoyed reading the most recently was The Road to Jonestown: Jim Jones and Peoples Temple by Jeff Guinn . Starts off with a deep dive into the Jones family and goes down the chilling path from there.

From the news reports I’ve read, including Ulbricht's, it's enough for law enforcement to just find out who you are. They can then set up a sting operation where the target inadvertently leaves their laptop exposed with the keys t

This works with many messaging apps, but I don't find it works with apps that don't have a textbox meant for pasting photos; the UI assumes the only way the user wants to share photos is by enabling Photos access.

So I’ve heard about this feature before but I’m not sure it actually exists? From the Photos app you can only share specific photos with specific apps that add themselves to the popout menu. If you disable Photos access to any of these apps

I don’t use Soulver that much anymore other than while travelling, but it’s great for tracking my travel budget on my phone: able to clearly list what I’ve bought, for how much, what the grand total is in my home currency and leave comments

Are you sure? Looking at my Soulver macOS receipt I did purchase it for $10 in 2012. I can't tell if it was a sale price but would be coincidental to have the same price cut 7-years apart.

It depends on the specific industry in tech. Do programmers in general tech startups have enough power? I’d say yes too. Do programmers in the gaming industry have enough power? Definitely not.

I’ve had both a Kindle and Kobo. The latter seemed like the better device because it felt less-tethered to bloatware I don't care about that the Kobo has (Pocket, gamification, etc.) and has decent GoodReads integration. Kindle does su

Probably not the ones—if any—that lurk 4chan and other extreme imageboards, having been desensitized to such content or probably even get something off of it. I actually wonder now how much of their workforce would fit in that demographic.
