Of course you do, Apple's selling mobile SOC's not high end cards. That doesn't mean they're incapable of making them for the right application. You don't seriously think the server farms running on M4 Pro Max chips

It's been a similar pattern with ADHD, it feels like its almost been turned into a trend. Although that being said we've had a number of people at our place been diagnosed with ADHD, Autism and in some cases both, all developers,

I cant say I'm a fan of Elon but he got it right with SpaceX. Space is expensive, stupidly expensive. There was zero chance SpaceX would've been able to survive this long if they'd not focused on profits. Reusable rockets bro

Thats about the only area the Pi is superior at this point. For the usecases where a zero is all you need its a no brainer, but many are using them as home servers and such. Even a basic wireless camera feed can be a struggle for the zero s

We dont really need a Pi killer anymore. They've done a fine job of killing it themselves. Their community has shrunk massively due to low cost mini pc's being leaps and bounds better value than a Pi now. Their two fingers being p

Anecdotally I can say it's improved my productivity. Mainly because it's just a slightly better autocomplete than PHPStorm/Jetbrains IDE provides. Although they are now pushing their own AI tools for an extra fee pretty heavi

Speaking from personal experience, dev jobs that use recruiters are often some of the worst places I've worked vs the ones that hire direct.

It also didn't help that a wildly inaccurate blog post was spread around (PHP: A fractal of bad design) and people took it as gospel, and still do to this day even though its a totally different language these days. PHP pays the bills

The easiest way to silence someone who's die-hard over the top in love with Javascript is ask them to compile something they wrote 3 years ago from scratch without a copy of the node_modules directory from its original compilation. The

For additional context, it's using Laravel, Livewire, Alpine and Tailwind (the 'TALL' stack) - pretty common and a nice stable base.

Tried it, was very unimpressed, it feels very much like a tech demo even as recent as this year. Certainly wouldn't waste my money on it.

I'm not sure I'd call those smart. They're basic little camera specs. We both know thats not what we mean when we discuss usable AR.

I'm not entirely convinced Apple even wants it to succeed. It's a stepping stone to augmented reality and a true 'forget you are wearing it' type of glasses product that can just naturally complement your surroundings.

People always try to make this argument but it can't really be denied that it's a slightly different situation having a handheld utility you can pull out vs being 'strapped in' and disconnected from the world for hours a
