I'm in a slightly similar situation. I have a job that's fine, but not my dream. Working on my dream on the side. But wife is currently pregnant, so my wife quit her job and we moved in with my parents. I know that might not be ev

I'm 37 and I've put hundreds of hours into IV and V just driving around and having fun. I don't have as much time for it anymore since I'm married with a kid on the way, but I still enjoy the heck out of it.

Great analogy, but I was waiting for the part where the hamsters suddenly have unlimited food. In that scenario, does they each continue their previous lifestyle to a certain extent? The hard working hamster continues running on the wheel b

Something similar happened to me. I bought something on eBay for about $50 and then the seller never shipped it at all. I messaged multiple times and finally got a response saying something weird like "I didn't think you still wan

Not sure if I'm allowed to post it here, but that company sent me a Game Boy Color version. It's a lovely piece of art, but with Game Boys back in high demand, a lot of people complained that I would support that company. Partly f

I have a 1966 VW Bus. The thing that scares me about driving it is safety. There’s just a thing piece of sheet metal in the front. I love the idea of a new version of the Bus, but this is… ugly. The new beetle was iconic, but the new bus do

That is still true today. This is going to sound a bit harsh but the market really is flooded with bad to mediocre games and people who think they’ve created a masterpiece. If you take a look at /r/gamedev it’s full of people shar

So many others here are saying negative things. I hate that people are even allowed to be billionaires or that they don't pay their fair share in taxes. But I do believe that Elon has a master plan and him buying Twitter is a key eleme

Even if some of the data is wrong in the video (according to supporters on the Safemoon subreddit), it's pretty obvious that SFM is a scam.

This got me following a rabbit hole to research about the first video games. Looks like the very first might have been one called Tennis for Two from 1958. So video games are even older than 60!

I agree with you, but... I don't think it's quite there yet. "Professional" cameras aren't yet irrelevant. But eventually they will be if they don't make some changes. This is film vs digital all over again.

Lots of good answers here already, but wanted to chime in. I recently bought a Blu-ray burner with M-disc support. Plan to buy or put together a NAS of some sort eventually, but also have been working through making backups of my most criti

I have an Instagram account where I post about modding retro game consoles. Turns out there's a huge community of very supportive people who do the same thing. It's not all TikTok influencers, there are niches on every platform. I

This looks really great Leslie! My dad is on dialysis and I'm going through the process to see if I'm eligible to donate to him— so far so good (I'm 36 and my dad is 65). I signed up on your site to be an early adopter.
