If you want to read current psychological research on this I'd suggest this paper. It explores the personality attributes of people who virtue signal and what they have to gain from it in current society, and why that wasn't the c

He's not saying they're part of the middle ground. He said extreme communities like Voat are the result of not allowing a middle ground and pushing people to one of the extremes.

I challenge you to do it. You'll instantly be shadowbanned by bots from multiple subreddits, people will actively seek out your posts and point out you're an extremist on unrelated topics (again, triggered by bots pointing you out

What? How about nobody cares about trans men in male competitions because they are at the bottom, so have no visibility because they don't make it to the big competitions where real money and fame is achieved?

You're not actually responding to what people are saying to you. You: 1. anxiety causes people to manipulate, lie, etc. 2. anxiety cannot be cured quickly => it's best to fire them instead of trying to "heal" them. Ot

Now I don't know about Japanese but I imagine these pronunciation cues must be even less helpful than in Chinese. You'd be right about that. Kanji were also imported over time, not at once. So Japanese bases its onyomi, the &qu

A simple example would be mostly running Linux applications on Linux machines (= containers), but having a Windows application that needs to run in a Windows VM on a Linux machine (VM, or a container in a VM).

You're going for too big cards again. A single card doesn't need to answer absolutely everything there is about a red black tree. You want to ask about a single aspect of it per card. The definition is "what is it?". The

Just ignore the remaining card count and go by time instead. Getting the remaining count to 0 does nothing. Redefine success as "I set out to do Anki for 10 minutes and I did!".
