The amount of complexity created in the desperate attempt to avoid learning k8s APIs has at this point, dramatically out complexified k8s itself.

Right that makes sense, but if that’s a serious drain of energy then one would imagine clogged pipes cause dramatically more waste? Seems like small potatoes compared to having clean drinking water.

You possibly have healthy enamel. I do not - and fluoride has been shown in many studies to prevent tooth decay. It’s also a heavy metal, so if you don’t have problems with tooth decay I’d say you have nothing to worry about :)

My RO system works purely on water pressure and requires no electricity. Do you mean the increased pressure causes increased power consumption?

There is a story like that with a preserved Bronze Age hut where knifes were found stashed in the thatched roof. A historian proposed it was a spiritual ritual surrounding their hunting weapons. The first parent that took a look knew what i

I'm aware it wastes an unfortunate amount of drinkable water. I'm also aware it filters things that might be beneficial, fluoride being one of them. I regret the water usage but I feel it a better alternative to poor health or bot

A semi-decent under-sink reverse osmosis system can remove the vast majority of chlorine from drinking water. If it's as bad as you say, I highly recommend the investment!

I’ll wait to hear more details rather than assuming everyone doing anything I have any question about is a liar or a grifter. Tunnels are cool. Small tunnels maybe less cool - but one can still imagine the uses. Here’s one: put it deep enou

Curious if others are familiar with the “dollar milkshake theory” - this seems to be the first sign of it being a miscalculation. Alternatively, this rate of dedollarization may have been calculated by the fed ahead of time. I’d love to kno

I can’t imagine who would suffer more, psychologically, from social media, than young women. I won’t pretend to guess at other causes. One thing that I’ve noticed in Gen Z is this repeated “I don’t feel like myself” sentiment. If any young

All of the problems you listed sound to me like earth-engineering problems, except for the "problem" of private property. I strongly disagree with the premise that social engineering raised us from tribal groups. It was agricultur

For some context, Rothbard is really hard on the volunteerism angle, he is a philosopher searching for non-violent ways of formulating society. He is one of the stronger "proto-libertarians" in my view because he recognizes that u
