If by "professional workflow" you mean programming, I agree. But I'd have no problem using Linux for that instead of MacOS. However, for many "professional workflow" means using the MS Office suite and a browser. Fo

It looks good, but I'm a bit concerned about the keyboard. Can anyone comment on how it is compared to e.g. the keyboard on a Macbook Air?

On the contrary, it's dangerous not to call out evil for what it is. Of course it might be wise to try to analyze what genetic/family/social/economic/political factors shape people like Castro, Gaddafi, Franco etc.

Zuckerberg created Facebook in bad faith (as a hateful hot-or-not site) and it has been run in the same vein ever since. We can criticize him till we're blue in the face, but the only thing that will make a difference is if each and ev

What has been removed is just syntactic sugar that can easily be acheived in other ways. I think it's a good thing that Elm's core is kept as clean and simple as possible. There are enough other languages with a kitchen sink philo

As OSs go I agree, Linux is a viable and in many ways a better alternative to MacOS and Windows. But there are still quite a few thrid party apps that do not have good Linux equivalents.

Completely agree. The keyboard is the dealbreaker for me too. When I need a new laptop Apple will no longer be producing a machine with an adequate keyboard. Stupidly, the keyboard is what will force me to switch to Windows/Linux.

I installed Ubuntu on my Macbook Air a couple of days ago. After making some adjustments for the hardware everything works. It's faster and smoother than current MacOS. It also looks better (after slight GUI tweaking). Granted, with Li

My gripe with Elementary OS is that it's too much like MacOS. It's dervied and feels boring and stale in the same way that MacOS does. If you're switching, do it with a bang, not a whimper.

I certainly didn't like the shallow keyboard on the Macbook. I don't even particularly like the keyboard on the Macbook Air I'm typing this on because of the short key travel. But I'm curious as to whether I could get us

With Angular you get all you need out of the box. Easy to get going with ng-cli (creating an app, generating components etc.). Typescript is default, so you get type safety if you want it. I like a lot of what I see. Conceptually, React and
