In Denmark the talk have mostly been about PFAS contaminated meat. One of the first places a severe contamination was found was on a building used by the fire brigade for testing and cows were grassing there as well. Since then a lot of oth

The big issue with this is as far as I am aware the fire hose will only give information about active users, which likely leaves a big number of passive users out of the calculations

The issue here is that only twitter knows who they count as a mDAU. So there could be a lot of bots that are simply not included in their counts.

A example from Denmark would be MobilePay [0] which is the most use payment solution for mobiles in Denmark. They would like to make it possible to use NFC to transfer information about a transaction in shops, but cannot do that on Apple Ph

The near-field communication have a clear reason. Apple was only allowing access to their own banking app as a payment provider in shops. As I understand there was not even a way to get access with any kind of forms or such if you had a com

This is great news, I have been rather annoyed in the past when I wanted to share stuff that were on the archive publicly. The last such example I can remember was Peter Naur's reasoning that it should not be computer science, but Data

That is probably a reason big-O is used, the big-O definition which says that they most be upper-bounded by a linear multiplier. So even if the second and third multiplication is faster it will not change the asymptotic behavior.

I would argue that the meta-programming facilities that are in Rust are more expressive and can be used to implement things that are not possible in C++. For example embedded dsl and similar. There is likely some cases where templates can e

I think the lack of speed here is more that it has to serialize the data from disk into a readable format. I assume using the `--grep=` option is faster than piping it through grep because of this

It is not a average, it is the total global use of farming. Just because a few countries does better does not mean that it is okay. And that does not also change the fact that the 1 cow vs. 30 mice sounds like nonsense. And that if everyone

I think the issue here is not how we could gather energy, but how it is done currently. A lot of crypto mining runs on limited resources such as gas or oil. If we had limitless power this would not be an issue of course, but that is a dream
