There is a really good example of this in the Q1 report. The chip shortage that has hit a lot of car manufacturers also hit Tesla, but they quickly changed hardware and developed new firmware. Only a software savvy company can do that.

Yeah, well, that's where the fascinating dynamics kick in. The "customers" for the clubs are of many different kinds. The sponsors are one, the broadcasters another. The list is long and they are connected with each other in

The dynamics of this is quite fascinating. As a startup, figuring out what your product actually is - what is it your customers _actually_ pay for - can be challenging. Clearly, it's the same for football clubs that's been around

Uhm. Yeah, prototypes of the next general vessel have exploded while gathering data. Meanwhile, Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy have made numerous successful and commercial launches and landings.

This reminds me of when the Danish mega-corp Maersk was attacked by ransomware and had all of their computers locked and decrypted with no access. All computers except one, which due to a power failure had been offline the whole time. This

“...it's centred around capital” Well, actually around value - which is different from capital. It just so happens that we use capital to trade a lot (but not all) of what we consider to be valuable. Even in a world of abundance there

And I’m sure the axes and saws he uses are not made by himself either and contains modern welds of steel. Darn those 19 year old kids. Keep taking lazy shortcuts.

The movies that came out a few years ago are great. My daughter liked them (at least until something else came along and stole her attention). Great songs and a quirky humor where they break the third wall again and again in true Muppet Sho

This is a beautiful analogy. One of my favourite quotes is from Jane McGonical: "we are as human beings designed to do hard, meaningful work". If you enjoy gardening, it doesn't feel like work. You do it because it's...

If that growth rate continues, electric cars will pass 50% sold in 8 years. Going to be an interesting decade.

If you're measuring an activity, that's where you end up. People will do more of that activity regardless of outcome. The clinics should be rewarded for the actual outcome you want: better dental health in a certain population.

Unfortunately many people miss the O in OKRs. The Objective is what really matters, but people tend to think it's all about the KRs - then you do end up with optimising for the metric.

Will you then also pay those who put huge effort and expense in to research that was perhaps necessary but didn't lead anywhere?

Uhm... have you looked two rows down? :) Not sure growth will continue at that pace, of course, but we've seen 50-100% annual growth the last couple of years (63% globally 2018). So... in a few years, perhaps 3-5?

I hooked up a Commodore 64 to an old CRT 21 incher at a party with a few families. The kids (8-12y) were glued to the screen for hours playing Archon.

It’s not like there are no interventions at all in Sweden. I haven’t been at the office since early March. People are restricted in traveling and crowds over 50 people are forbidden etc.

Here’s a scenario. Every morning and evening when you brush your teeth, you also do your covid-test. It’s that simple and that cheap. If everyone could do that we can live with this virus. We don’t have to run and hide from it in our homes.
