I can confirm this was the case for me. After months of testing I was considered “not gluten sensitive”, while experiencing bad IBS when consuming gluten. Once I tried the FODMAP diet I found that the food should high in fructans were my tr

Meh, I got into CMU SCS, and chose Tufts, because I was equally interested in comp sci and music, and Tufts had a much superior music program. Early on in my career I'd get questioned about my CS degree from Tufts, and I'd jokingl

All that said, it's not perfect and there are annoying things about it, so I'm not painting it as a perfect language. And there are problems that it's probably not well suited to solve. I discovered clojure about 25 years in

I've been debating whether or not to give a talk / write a blog post on this, but I think this might just be the kind of thing that people make their assumptions about, and thats it. I do wish people would give clojure a real go,

We've hired 3 so far. Actually had entirely too many good applications to choose from (25+?). Leaving this comment so people who may read this and get scared off understand that it's definitely not the case.

Yeah, not to pile on with the comments, but more to help someone else who might not have used minikube, but it's been great for the past year we've been using it. As simple as simple gets.

And yet Amazon, Facebook, Walmart, CapitalOne, Netflix, Oracle, Red Hat, Two Sigma and a bunch of banks use it. Makes you wonder how indicative those lists are of anything.

If clojure/script didn't exist, I'd be doing the same thing! Kotlin is a great language!

Couldn't disagree more. Not saying it's for everyone, but it's been an actual game changer in my life workflow. I no longer need to have my phone with me at all times. I can just walk into a space, put my phone down, and on

I think it's fueled by a naive idea that paying for closed source software is inherently bad. Actually, it's not necessarily a naive idea, as this specific OP may have weighed the pros and cons and have decided that it's not

Our litmus test was that we invested years into Angular 1.2/1.4, and when 2 came out it was so radically different that we would have had to have effectively learned a new framework. At that point we switched to React. Everything you&
