You should get the straight facts on that kid and what he did and confront the school over it. They obviously failed across the board with him and probably someone got hurt for him to get time. They could have done things to correct his beh

Once you know how to program picking up a new language is just a matter of doing a project or two in it. Just go see what jobs are interesting to you and learn the language/framework they want over a weekend or two.

I look angry most of the time and concentrating makes it much worse, so yes. That said, I'm a total introvert and very misanthropic in my outlook, so I actively cultivate the pissed look, it keeps people away and that's exactly wh

This guy should move to scandinavia, he'd learn that conversation is cheap. I can't tell you how many times I've spoken to a scandie for literally hours just to have it come to nothing. No new friend, not really even an acqua

Yeah, I have as good a CV as anyone and I've never gotten anything off any of these hiring threads. I suspect many posts are just straight up resume collection schemes. If I post on the freelancers thread, I tend to average one reply a

Administration is one component but another is student life/amenities. Lots of schools borrow to keep up in the arms race for new swanky dorms, gyms, aquatic centers, climbing centers, you name it. Then they need dough, so they shake d

The math part is not so bad, but I definitely would agree that the verbal/written strongly favors students educated in affluent private schools. You just not going to get that vocab prep down in a poor public school with a lot of minor

What chain of evidence is needed if the actual people involved say they saw something? Their testimony is not open to dispute, you either believe they saw it or you believe they are liars. How would that account be tampered with? Anyway, ac

This board is the most skeptic place I know of, so I have a question. How do the ones that accelerate at like 600 G's work? What's the power source and how is that energy being translated into propulsion? Also, why does the object

This is insightful, thanks. Do you have any tips for getting in touch with people in companies who can actually buy from me? I find that I have far less work than I would like just letting clients come to me. Appreciate it.
