Thanks for the additional info. Where did you find out about this? Is there a good book or something? It’s all very interesting. As far as rallies flying the Gadsden, they’re also flying the America flags. I get what you’re saying, and I’m

Wow that is a well researched position, thanks for sharing. First of all I do think think all confederate flags should be retired. The confederate flags represent an enemy the US defeated. No American should feel pride about those flags. Ho

Small nit-pick, it is disingenuous to write “Gadsen/Confederate” flag when those are two totally separate things. The Gadsen flag for most people is a symbol of independence and freedom. Historically it was not associated with slavery,

I always wondered how people claim that. Did they have two pcr tests or something else telling them what variant they had?

Looks like there is the option for a one-off $5 "Boost", so if you want to give $10 a year you can just give two boosts.

In terms of total portfolio it ranges from a few percent to ~30 percent. But that’s dependent on amount previously invested. A better measure might be percent of total yearly investment that goes into crypto, since we’re talking about inflo

My well educated bubble is invested in crypto, probably at about 10% of income. None of us are posting about it on Facebook though.

In any context. If someone thinks or knows something is propaganda they should exercise their free speech to point that out. Not even propaganda should be censored. Then again propaganda often implies it’s coming from a government. In that

Given the large long roads in the US, there’s always going to be a preference for large vehicles. Especially since there is a strong link between weight/size and safety.

From what I’ve seen the current shortages are primarily due to lack of sufficient pay and firing nurses who don’t want to get vaccinated. Additionally it seems like current nurses are over qualified for covid care. How long would it take to

Yes, exactly. The world is dangerous and full of risks. Freedom is literally worth sacrificing lives for. This is a fundamental founding idea of the US.

It definitely is, but they’re addressing it from the wrong end. If the pandemic could be fixed by the government managing individual behavior we’d be done with it by now. Instead the government should be focused on expanding highly covid sp

Remains to be seen based on the outcome of longitudinal studies. I have not seen a comprehensive general population safety study. I believe the last large scale safety studies are the ones used for EUA. Would love to be proven wrong though.

Some people really just don’t want an experimental vaccine which sidestepped the usual regulatory approval.

Yes, most of the time that’s true, and just about everything you mentioned can be boiled down to a single number. Genuine ties do happen though, and at the end of the day the board is human.

It probably happens more than you think. Organs are doled out based on a rating system as evaluated by a small review board In the case of ties, the question of who “deserves” the organ is relevant to the board members. Uncomfortable but tr

IMO coding should be taught like a trade. Take woodworking for example. Sure you spend some time learning to make straight cuts etc, but you quickly move to building thing with a lot of feedback.

It’s anti-scientific to not consider a leak from the lab studying coronavirus in a city where a novel one appears. Where do you think hypothesis come from? Ingenuity based on educated beliefs is a the very core of science. The above stance

I mean, if you’re ultimately going to combine the list into a string anyway it’s no big deal. Along those lines. I wonder how many of these come from ad-hoc file path handling instead of using pathlib.

No need. You’re buying jpegs on the internet. Do we really need more litigious language to tell people it’s inherently risky? Just go on wallstreetbets, plenty of people use brokers who use such language to make let’s say… ill advised trade
