Depends on the translation you're reading. The original texts are in Hebrew and Greek so everything we read is a translation. You probably read the English KJV version, which was translated in 1611 and is thus the English of that time.

Yes I use many of those. I whitelist every domain allowed to execute JavaScript on my machine, and for the most part I get a better browsing experience for it. So with regards to BuzzFeed I'm very aware of what garbage their site is. R

I think I've read that superglue was invented in WWI for exactly this purpose. But beware that closing up a wound increases the chance of infection, so only do this if you're sure that you've been able to sterilize the wound
