This is true of most news sites that report on things like this. I remember an article a few months back about the proliferation of Facebook trackers and how it is a bad thing. The article itself had a Facebook pixel tracker on it. The author could have discovered this doing the same they did for all the sites they reported on. Of course they did not cover their own site.
