I'm from Germany and what the article doesn't tell you is that a large portion of antisemitic action comes from migrants. Ironically, Germans won't call out antisemitism conducted by migrants out of fear to appear racist.

There is no hidden depth in "the right thing": perform the intended action with as little time/memory complexity as possible. I disagree completely with what you're saying. If anything, the examples in the post show we s

Tangential to Jon Blow mentioned in the post is the Handmade Network, which advocates for better programming by sticking closer to the hardware. While I think this is a worthwhile and noble effort, I think what this post really shows is tha

In my opinion this is great for professionals, but it's also the reason why the year of the Linux desktop (™) will never come. I recently had to configure a raspberry to drive a display 24/7 and the simple task of keeping the disp

From my personal experience, most developers that discover list comprehension etc. get excited about how much they can achieve with little code that they try to keep everything as small as possible. They end up using short, non-descriptive

Thank you. I should've stated my position more extensively. By financial decisions I mean decisions that can be directly correlated to increased margins. The original comment was speculating that Apple might not sell the iPhone SE beca

Some problems might be overstated. But I recently had to explain to my cousin the Macbook lineup and how she connects her devices, so it's not just made up. I agree, they should make more distinct models. The current line up is still c

Apple's lineup is getting so confusing. The iPad Mini is praised by a lot of Apple enthusiasts but for me it just adds more chaos to their product lineup. Which tablet supports which pen? Can I connect my iPad to my Macbook using the i

Good point. I think the game you should play when entering an argument is finding the truth. I think what I was trying to say was that if someone changes the game by arguing in bad faith (and for the sake of the point, undoubtedly so), you

Not only do you still have to hassle with Apple's clunky provisioning profiles, it only lasts for a week and you're almost guaranteed to get an error message because you reached the device limit with as much as one device.

I've learned vim in the standard vim editor at the time, so I can only guess but it should probably work. 99% of my work with vim is navigating and editing text. The rest is macros and substitute, all of which is available in IntelliJ.
