Thank god Apple has been putting their eggs in their home-woven ARM basket. Now I just wish that they had a CEO who was above golden-trophy ass-kissing.

If he had presented Trump with a custom iPhone or MacBook made of gold, I might have ignored it. I’m not sure that Tim should be running the world’s most important computer company.

None of Apple's icons resemble anything these days other than this uniform blobby whatever. I cannot imagine why.

I simply don’t need a lot of AI. I would be very happy with a futuristic UNIX workstation with lots of development on the kind of things that used to get everyone excited about computers.

There were Windows, DOS, and CP/M boards available for Apple, IBM, SGI and other heterogeneous hardware in the 1980s and 1990s. I don’t see what the big deal is now.

Arg, thanks. I literally read that, but there was too much advertising on that site. Maybe the Navy needs to provide Wi-Fi to sailors if it means that much for their morale. And maybe consumer endpoint security needs to be so rock-solid tha

For all the problems with Apple, their accessibility features are wonderful. There is no way that open source can match the hardware integration of these features. Steve Jobs would have just released them, and then said that they are there.
