I've been using Linode for 7 years now and I've had very little downtime. Pretty reliable in my experience. Mind you, I'm just hosting a simple website and mail server.

I’ve been running my own mail server for years. It’s definitely a PITA to setup, but it’s not _that_ difficult.

This is great! It's been well over a decade but I used to reverse-engineer flash games so that I could run my own high score servers. It was a fun and challenging way to expand my programming knowledge as a teenager. Will definitely lo

If you don't know what's causing the issue, how do you know the problem isn't on your end? Switching providers won't fix that.

That's one hell of a tinfoil-hat theory. How would you even orchestrate that from within a public company with so many developers involved?

I really dislike the term chosen for this feature. “Blame”, assumes the code is broken or written improperly in some way. Most of the time I use it I’m just trying to find out who wrote it so I can find the original commit to understand it

I suppose the QA teams always have a very acute awareness of the flaws compared to the users. From the perspective of someone who played the game, I thought it was amazing. Props on the game - it is one of my all time favourites.

I would not be surprised if step 5. is a platform that is essentially an aggregation of different platforms which pays out royalties/fees to each of the individual services and thus completes the digital recreation of cable TV.

The Lexus IS300 and IS350 both have the exact same engine, only the 300 is detuned to not be as fast. You can do an after-market ECU tune and end up with the exact same performance as a 350. I don't understand why they decided to make
