Interesting - I never knew that was the purpose of Reddit gold. I feel like a donation drive with direct acknowledgement that it would keep the site private and free of external financial interests would have provoked me to donate. I though

I can’t help but think this is the end for that site. It started off with a very old school minimalist designed forum vibe and has been devolving into dark patterns and advertisements as of late. I guess good things can’t stay free forever

I often tell people that muscle is built in the kitchen, not in the gym. Stick to compound exercises and consume a high protein caloric surplus diet.

It's true - China's numbers, unsurprisingly, really don't give light to how badly they were impacted. I remember reading about how they were building brand new hospitals to cope. Literally building a brand new hospital. http

Seems like a poorly misinterpreted joke about how people will often mention a younger age for their birthday when they’re getting into their older ages? Is that the joke? If this joke is told by women more often than men (in my experience i

The best managers I have had were ones who had previously worked as developers. While the most clueless ones had zero programming background. I tend to encounter the latter in smaller companies that have revenue pipelines outside of tech an

I wonder if this could be considered as a pseudo index fund of the general tech sector as they essentially exist to serve tech-oriented companies.

I'm inclined to agree - I use breakpoints all the time when I'm debugging JS code and it is most definitely an invaluable tool. It can be a bit cumbersome to setup and it can be a little buggy especially when you're working w

This isn't just specific to operations, I experience this amongst other developer teams as well. I've had previous coworkers approach me about API "bugs" because they didn't bother to troubleshoot their app code and

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but sounds like bad gas released from the ground caused the oceans to acidify, destroying most species, this in turn caused land animals to follow suit.

This makes you wonder - did the whole save the trees movement give rise to a far dangerous alternative, the mass usage of plastics?

They had only just introduced plugins when I used it so I guess they weren’t as advanced back then. I can see they’ve added in many new features since. Can’t say I’ll use it again but good on them for continuing to improve it.
