yeah I tried various review sites and newegg reviews but they all reeked of spam. I don't understand why the big G doesn't immediately ban all spam sites. They take about 0.1 seconds to identify by a human viewer. Obviously not suggesting t

I think Matt has his work cut out for him. There is a tonne of content that Google is having trouble weeding spam from. Try searching for ' anything review' and you'll get 99.99% spam. Made it very difficult for me to make an informed choi

I don't see how their price point can be lower since they are using commodity components. Their contribution is the software+hardware combo. In fact they will probably never come even close to competing on price. Hardware is a tricky game a

Great looking product - they'll have a hard time out-marketing Apple though. This seems like a market where second place is as good as dead. Good luck to them. As a side note - there's at least a billion dollars to be made by the first comp

I guess at some point mining our solar system will become technologically and economically feasible. Maybe waiting for and 'roping in' a passing Asteroid would also work - aren't those things chock full of useful elements?

Seems that a number of these alternatives are unfeasible (given current tech) since net energy figures are negative ie it takes more than 1 barrel of oil to produce a single barrel. Of course we're banking on technology solving these issues

of course it goes without saying that a framework should have an extension mechanism that allows you to build custom widgets (and Ext does). It's also nice when you don't have to build a treeview or grid with pagination and sorting and ed

Since the OP is asking for UI frameworks I assume you're both referring to JQueryUI. A UI framework is only as good as the widgets it ships with and looks to me like JQueryUI is a bit light on in this regard. Certainly a good framework for

Thanks rms I appreciate the feedback. I think you're right that the success of this product really boils down to a marketing challenge. I guess that applies to all products, but maybe more so when dealing with so much competition.
