that is such bullshit. When google acts as proxy I dont associate the proxy link as the actual link to the resource I'm looking for. This fool has wedged himself between the client and business and in the process has hijacked the business'

Wow this is just disgusting slimeball behaviour on the part of helphive. A business' phone number is an important part of it's identity. Business owners pay to have memorable numbers (repeating digits etc.) - not to mention numbers like 180

i switched to chrome a couple of months ago and have not looked back. Firefox was starting to feel seriously bloated. Chrome starts up quickly, runs much faster than FF let alone IE. The only reason I fire up FF is to use firebug as the web

It's just quality control. For some reason people value karma. The possibility of a down vote makes you think twice about posting rubbish. From that perspective the system is working as intended :)

i think the point is you don't get a second chance with the people who have already written you off - add a couple of negative blog posts here and there and you may end up with a lot of negative publicity to overcome.

I think it really depends what type of industry you're entering. If you're breaking new ground and creating something truly original then you can get away with releasing early and often - your audience is going to be made up of early adopte

Looks like I'm getting down voted for not contributing anything worthwhile to the conversation. I'm not a huge fan of get rich books and I wonder how many rich people ever read any of those books. Also I don't really like the idea of hoardi

Thanks for the positive feedback. Good point about the download catalogue button. I've been thinking about how to make the catalogue tools a bit more intuitive. At the moment you have to drag some products on to the page for the changes to

what a terrible solution to a non-existent problem. This doesn't even work as a proof of concept - I can't think of a single scenario where this technique would be useful. Talk about killing a fly with a sledgehammer!
