What's also interesting is how the appropriateness of this particular metadiscussion seems to also come in waves. Today this is top of the front page. Tomorrow the same post might be flagged or comments downvoted into oblivion.

I have a male cousin who's parents absolutely refused to supply gender specific items. Going so far as to purposely ban toy weapons and other "kinetic and violent" items from the toy chest. By four he was turning anything and everything int

So it'd been a while and I ran out and listened to the following, recording my visceral reactions: Op. 17 No.4 (performed by Horowitz) - pretty, no "connection". I'd probably play it in the background during a nice dinner party. Op. 33 No.2

Right...it's like a sympathetic vibration ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sympathetic_vibration )...but on an emotional level. I guess I'm "tuned" to Bach and you're tuned to Chopin. If anybody is interested, I've found this to be a very p

Every single person I know who used Wave thought the character-by-character thing was terrible and wanted it turned off. A few of them actually stopped using it as soon as they realized it did this since they didn't want to broadcast half-f

Thank you for having one of the few reasoned statements of why you like a mac I've seen in this post! It's a breath of fresh air! You like it simply because you like it. You recognize some people may not like it, and may like other things.
