I don't think a poorly written scraper would follow robots.txt rules according to spec. So, in any case the site should have other measures (rate limiting?) anyway.

While it's much better than PhantomJS, still causes a lot of issues. We run a paid pet project [1] for html to pdf conversion and most of our customers have stories beginning with PhantomJS then moving to wkhtmltopdf then finally going

Was just dealing with this today: If some row is deleted due to a foreign key cascade constraint, delete triggers are not executed. When you delete directly, they run obviously. It's worse than having no trigger support.

I paid for Paw and can't stand using it. One of few macOS apps that I gave up after purchasing. Things like entering JSON body requires using a gui resembling the plist editor or going for raw text input. But then you need to add a con

We were on GCP for around a year, it was my decision I really wanted to love GCP and I initially did. But we recently switched to AWS. I think there is little GCP does better than AWS. Pricing is better on paper, but performance per buck se

With target esnext, it produces almost the same output with some spacing differences. Sans the annotations obviously.

Yeah this is the reason I went ahead and wrote the template engine I mentioned in the parent comment. It compiles down to go templates. I inject generic math functions [1] and convert an expression like 4 + 5 * 3 to go template function cal

While I agree in theory, I can't stand that in practice :). For example, let's say I want to show a usage stat, I'd pass something like { usage: 100, limit: 1000 } to the template engine. Let's say I want to add a percen

I don't like Go Templates. My issue is that you can't have small calculations easily. You'd have to add a lot of helper functions or prepare everything before passing to template engine. Now there is too much coupling. And no

I think it should be the default setting. Even make it not configurable. Why would anyone want to see just Readme or just Files view when it's possible to have them both?

You can change that on your personal prefs to show the file list by default, with Readme on bottom: http://c.ekin.io/3z1V2v3P041b git push speed is fine on our own ce installation but gitlab.com is beyond shitty.

We've been on Google Cloud for a year and recently moved everything to AWS. On paper, Google Cloud looks great. Pricing is definitely better but raw VM performance is not. You get what you pay for. Stability is not anywhere near AWS. H

Take a look at dockerized alternatives too. Makes it a lot easier. For example https://hub.docker.com/r/siomiz/softethervpn/ outputs the config file to stdout so you can just run it, get the config with docke

This would allow `height: 50cw`. Then we can define specific aspect ratios like `width: 100cw; height: 50cw;` would force image to have 2:1 aspect ratio.

I'd argue that Agar would run smoother on UDP. The decision was not really a decision here. WebSockets provide TCP only. One can use WebRTC data channels now but there are still issues woth compatibility. And it's all tradeoffs. F

On mobile, we mostly do percentages on images due to varying display sizes. Gets ridiculous when you want to specify the dimension, because you can't. We need to specify aspect ratios and css does not provide that. Went with a padding-

I'd guess that it would be slower on Linux by design, but not in a malicious way. They must be using various win32 apis and might have needed to shim them on Linux. Maybe they had assumptions on NTFS performance, paging behavior etc. A
