That comment you link is from 2019, and Google has made many substantial changes to MV3 since in response to the feedback. It obviously still doesn't give as much power as WebRequest API, but they still addressed many complaints and in

That's honestly one of my favorite prompts. It's funny to think I use this state of the art AI to generate crayon drawings, but they look so great! https://i.imgur.com/jKcNkat.png

It's not that it's "vague", they intentionally throw off when you try to generate a photo of a named person. It's an intentional protection they put in. If you just do "king" it'll likely do fine, but

Top 1% is a bit exaggerated, but there is definitely a lot of not good stuff. I find that Dall-E does especially poorly with underspecified prompts too, unlike something like Midjourney which can give visually pleasing photos for even the m

How is it neutering it? Can you specifically list the features that would not be possible under MV3, and how commonly used said features are by the average people who install the extension and don't customize anything?

The fact that I don't want to partake in childish browser wars is the reason Chrome has larger user share? Apple has the exact same limitation on Safari yet no one claims "Apple forced Declarative API down people's throat&quo

Do we yet know what the status of uBlock or a uBlock fork for Manifest V3 is? I know it won't be able to have all the same features, but it certainly will be doable, but have the authors fully set their minds up about not converting th

Even ignoring the comparison to existing options. 700$ doesn't sound ridiculous if you consider it includes exam, fitting and so on. It's only 2x the price of airpods, which doesn't come with exam or fitting.

Another win for the extremist anti-porn group Exodus Cry. They are just using a small handful of cases slipping through the cracks to make it look like PH is doing nothing to moderate this content. Their end goal was never to protect childr

It probably depends highly on load / time of day. I agree it would be nice to have concrete stats though about the average and variance. I just got access to Dall-E today, and there it's 115 prompts for 15$, so roughly twice the p

I don't really agree with your take. First off, the PDF in this very post, as well as promptwiki link posted elsewhere in the comments, shows that there are definitely people doing this for free too. As for your analogy, I'd say i

The whole thing is run through Discord bot, which is unfortunate but I guess it allowed them to get half their infrastructure for free? You interact with the bot through Discord commands and it generates and returns the photos to you.

Prompt crafting is quickly becoming an art. I just found out yesterday that there's actually market places for buying and selling prompts [0]. It can really make a big difference if you can tune the image by adding the right words. Mid

I really enjoy Midjourney for more abstract and vague vibe art. It's not as good at specific stuff (although Imagen/Parti are much better at it even than Dall-E too, which has its own shortcoming around text and numbers). My favor

I've been using Midjourney [1] (it's not free, 25 photos demo, then 10$ for ~200 photos or 30$ for unlimited I think?). It's fairly fast, ~20s for a grid of 4, then as much for upscaling. I like the controls, it lets you do v

799, that's a huge bump in price, likely due to having the highest end qualcomm. I think this phone would've been perfectly fine with a lower tier CPU, and cheaper price.

It's simple, have servers that enforce no-mod rule, and have servers that don't. Even back in cs1.6 there was the concept of VAC enabled and non-VAC enabled servers. Hackers could go in non-VAC servers and hack to their heart'

Is that really related to modding though? I thought model swapping was built-into the game, people can change their look without any mods. How does banning mods solve that?
