The impact, from your words, is also important to determine what you enjoy doing. Perhaps Gomde UK had you there just to drive the tractor (absurd example to get point across), but you really loved working with sqlite and you went on to cre

A common problem with technical leads is that occasionally they tend to forget that they can't know all the correct solutions and it's usually better to yield to those who do. Sometimes seniority makes this even worse. Source: Aft

In my humble opinion, it would benefit all better if we standardized something like jql (jira query language, so the user layer) first. From experience, many who find sql too complex have no problem with writing complicated jql queries. it&

Fair points. But, mark-recapture is about practicality. It's not perfect, but it's a solid compromise between accuracy and feasibility (so I mean best in these regards, to be 100% clear). Sure, different methods might skew results

Catching fish is theoretically not perfectly random (risk-averse fish are less likely to get selected/caught) but that's the best method in those circumstances and it's reasonable to argue that the effect is insignificant.

I do that a lot, and sometimes even consciously, because, if I may be bold, large companies have a lot of people, and among so many people there's surely some evil masterminds. I'm saying this of course with a tongue in cheek but

I used HTMX since the intercooler days [0] but the stuff you can make is rather limited. Also you still need the JS to deal with a11y things like expanded state (or hyperscript, apparently). If you have a lot of components to implement, eve
