I think the issue that you overlook is that you assume this group of individuals is trustworthy. I'm not saying they aren't, but there are a LOT of conflicting opinions about what happened, why it happened, and who was right/

I feel like a change to the way gems are distributed/downloaded could fix this. Unfortunately, the very powers that could make that happen are the powers that control the software and infrastructure, and have the least incentive to imp

In my eyes, it'd be cheaper for a company to simply purchase laptops with decent hardware specs, and run the LLMs locally. I've had decent results from various models I've run via LMStudio, and bonus points: It costs nothing

Keep in mind that a big part of the huge jump in recent chips was that GB6 added support for SME, and to my knowledge, no app uses SME as of yet. GB5 is a better benchmark for all these chips for this reason. The actual IPC increase and per

FWIW on KDE this is easily doable. I have my taskbars set up with per monitor taskbars as well.I can do pretty much anything while playing a game, watching a movie, etc.

Author seems to have a ton of hate for Cloudflare. Everything I read on that page I support. No, search DOES NOT work well. When I search for things like product reviews, I receive affiliate spam and other nonsense. Niche topics also return

Funny enough, I thought this earlier about Arch Linux and it's deritives. It was mentioned on reddit that they operate on a small budget. A maintainer replied that they have very low overhead, and the first thought that popped into my

I read this, and intentionally did not read the replies below. You are so wrong. You can write a library, even an entirely new language from scratch, and you will still be denied employment for that library/language.
