I had a very difficult period* years ago while trying to finish a masters in NY (never finished it), I did something similar. I would never spend any cash, I would keep it until the last moment because it gave me options. I believe people d

Hard to understand why people spend so much time on a short game like Diablo III. Even before I finished it on inferno the game didn't make much sense, I just finished for the sake of it, which I regret. Most Super Mario games requires way

(I lost my reply on a copy-paste / expired link, let's try again) Sensors 'broadcast' the information across the systems in a very simple way (electronic but not hackable). Everyone get its data directly from sensors. The FMC is like a pilo

Exactly. Because the ILS range is short, it becomes easy to pin point location. Those protections are embedded in the ILS system itself

You are correct, but modern receivers will actually use the transmitter like a "NDB" and will detect that the incoming position is not the same as the stated in those messages, ignoring them. The same thing happens with sudden changes in GP

I used to make avionics for a living and I don't even understand what this man is talking about. (I don't think he does too) That seems to be just an ACARS sniffer. ACARS and ADS-b has nothing do to with aircraft control systems. You don't

This last price fluctuation is doing more harm to bitcoin than a moratory does to a country. No one can even explain formally why this is happening. Lack of liquidity? Penny stock behavior? Are there sharks driving the prices to make a spec

Maybe you are taking a similar path that I did, good luck. (I went further getting ATP and working at an airline, which I regret a bit now I'm just CPL/CFI/CFII, I teach at a local flight school just to keep my licenses) /r/flying is pretty

I'm also very comfortable using struts (1,2) and spring, have been using it for a very long time. I think you should learn RoR (or Django) and then decide for yourself. Keep in mind that we are in the middle of another 'change' in web devel

Why don't you just find two mid-points based on the last and current positions and use bezier? It should be absurdly faster. Example: x = (p1.x + p2.x) * 0.5; y = (p1.y + p2.y) * 0.5; Implementation (easily portable to html5): htt

Not every task is the same, and, yes, you will have to deal with tasks you would rather be doing something else - no matter what career you pick - this is why discipline is usually more important than 'talent' (which is a scam, talent is ju

I guess I could change WireframeApp to comply with most of your ideas. You could also do that, it's open source. I read your blog post but I need more specifics. Could you send an email with more info? Check it out: https://github.com/edu

SO defines quality by rhetoric and writing style, not so much by content. Again, how can you define what is low quality if you are deleting baselines? I literally clicked randomly on a subject I know about to read a question and its answers
