For someone interested in robotics and automation, what types of groups/jobs would one look for specifically in this industry? Also geographically where are these types of jobs located?

I've listened to a bunch of those episodes. I agree, the host/creator does a fantastic job.

I will just add, the author of the NYT piece has a book out on this subject. The book is decent, has some cringe worthy descriptions of technical things if you are a technical person, but overall I learned a huge amount reading it. A lot of

I think the author used Yolov5 to detect cars and their own method for counting them. Counting requires tracking object instances, which Yolo doesn't do.

This seems to be a common design pattern on iOS App Store as well. Download a 'free' app and don't let the user use the app in trial mode unless they click a button that gets them to sign up, subscribe, or buy some in app pur

$600m from the state of Michigan, so tax payer money? So the people are paying for their own settlement? My guess is this shows up as an extra line item in the utility bill, like the San Bruno pipeline explosion a few years go. I don't

One of the nicer things about the hough approach is also that you can get a bunch of other information from parameter space, like horizon lines and vanishing points.

Is the vim-vscode extension good? I love vim on the terminal but I tried thr extension once and felt like I was trying to shovel one system into another system. Maybe I was just doing it wrong...?

For sure, but in practical terms these types of dealings often have middle men and the end buyer is often not known (by design). Everything I know is from podcasts and books, so I'm not an authority on the subject - though I would poin

Is it illegal in the US to sell zero-day exploits, or to package up zero-day exploits into nice usable tools? My understanding is that it is not illegal, but something like this perhaps give the US a tool to pursue and/or prosecute ind

Kinda makes one wonder what all the fuss about billionaires going to space is about. VR industry isn't exactly lacking in private funding rightnow. My guess is that this money is strategically aligned with shoring up chip manufacturing

Not really without moving the price of the stock. You can try it yourself by trading some illiquid securities. It goes with anything you trade - if you trade enough you move the price. It's also not working capital, it's just a pe
